Snail egg laying patterns?

    They should hatch, how many snails where around the area?

    I had cushion starfish lay eggs and hatch, really cool to watch.

    They wont hatch. They need to be exposed to air before/close to hatching. In nature this would be at low tide.

    Mimic lowtide. Put a container against the glass around the eggs then syphon the water out of the container. And voila eggs exposed to air.

    Just for info. Mine laid eggs and hatched. Definetely no exposure to air (they were laid at the bottom of the tank). Now I have loads of miniature snails crawling around.

    I did some rescaping and I put all the liverock outside to decide on how to scape and when I put one of the last pieces in again I noticed patterns of nassarius snail eggs and the eggs were all silver grey. Lets see what happens. They are in tank and have been exposed to open air for approx 35 minutes
