Uhm, suddenly had this guy pop out the rockwork. In the 6 months I've had the tank , never seen anything like it :

Edit to add : Not sure if it helps the ID, but the only thing I've done differently is significantly reduce photo period as part of my attack on the cyano.

That last pic is a crappy cellphone pic zoomed. The creature is about the size of a R5 coin.

Has a small line down the middle on the under side and when I turned the light on to check it out it turned the top quarter as if to head back down the glass.

Took these photos and ran as I was late already ! Will ask the missus to take more when she's back home in an hour.

Google seems to indicate mixed ideas,so I'll rather ask here - if it is a flatworm, should it come out or leave it ?

About R5 coin size. That second last pic is of the top and fairly accurate color reproduction. More a blue tinge rather than brown.

    Ok sweet,
Luckily it isn't those small brown flatworms,
They infested my tank once and ate all my coral.

    I would sump it tho.

when you take it out, take a better picture while having it in a dark container. Form the top.

Oops ! Damn load shedding ! Done before I saw this. Will try recapture on next clean out - this is now in chamber 4 of my tl450.

Was creamy colored , appeared to have two bumps almost like the mouths on my elegance. Wasn't as translucent / see through as the pics made it look. Also , not as blue once out the water.

Will make sure to get better pics once I've made the decision to handle an unknown next time.
