Not sure, I have only used it for 2 months as a backup skimmer, and it its working very well and Super silent

Guys the pump is as new and makes up half the price I am asking, This is a very good skimmer with the wave line upgrade, I used it for two months on my 1300 L tank and it is really silent, you can watch you tube videos, with the dc pump it is probable the least noisy skimmer there is and it works well
