Skimmer (internal) advice - 200l DT + 150l Sump

    Hi,

    I have a 200l Aqua H20 tank and about a 150l sump tank (with a DSB).
    I currently have a Hydor Slim Skim in the tank. (Tank is just about finishing cycling:yeahdude: and I added a couple of turbo snails and a couple of hermits to 'test the waters')

    Tank has liverock (quite a bit, but not sure how much - will post pictures later)

    I want to stock the tank quite heavily over time and want to make sure that I have a skimmer that is up to the task. No space for an external skimmer - has to be an internal one.

    What skimmer would you recommend?

    off the top of my head, a Reeftek TS1 should serve you good for that volume but you could go bigger depending on the space you have available in your sump...

    I left quite a bit of room (height-wise) for the skimmer. I'll do my homework on the Reeftek TS1 and make sure whether it will fit.

    While I'm doing my homework - any other internal skimmers I should be studying? (Or keeping an eye out for in the "For Sale" forum)

    Reeftek TS2 and Reef Octopus X160/x200. make sure you check the footprint of the skimmer compared to the height and width of the compartment before you make a purchase ;)

    I'll only apply my mind to that once I have another one in place.

    Its the bigger version - so too big for a Boyu 550. It is rated for 250l.
