I have just installed my skimmer, a reeftek TS1, how long before I see skimmate? how deep should it be in the sump? where height should the bubbles be?

Play with the level adjustment. Water levels in skimmer will vary depending on amount of water the skimmer is in.

Best and most sustainable way is to make sure the skimmer level is set with the skimmers level adjuster.

if its a NEW skimmer it may take a little time if it was not run in vinegar 1st (approx 1 week / 10 days) but if it was a second hand skimmer and the moulding oils removed approx 2-3 days dependant on bioload.
