Skimmer help

    which is better for the skimmer? A pipe running to the skimmer directly from the overflow.....or the skimmer sitting in the sump getting water pumped thru it by a pump?

    If it is an external skimmer,my choice is to feed to skimmer with a seperate pump rather than feeding it via the overflow.This way the water level in the skimmer doesnt fluctuate. IMO

    Don't go with overflow feeding the skimmer, rather have separate pump.
