Sixline wrass and DSB

    I have found a really nice little sixline but i have an intank DSB. Will he kill all my little critters making the DSB pointless?

    Not at all, your DSB's main job is to cultivate anaerobic bacteria to convert the nitrate's to nitrogen, the noo-noo's are an added bonus and not part of the nitrogen cycle.

    He will clean up all your pods, but they really not the point of a DSB as previously noted.

    But the only way the water moves from aerobic layers down to anaerobic layers is when the noo noo's(as eric put it) move around. Or not? I thought that is the reason we want them there in the first place.
