simple high-flow diy overflow

    so this is my 3rd DIY overflow box :) im on a roll!

    im just trying to see what is the best for my tank. and i think iv found it :)

    its simple because there is no plexiglass bending involed but you get the same result :thumbup:

    instead of having a "U" out of plexiglass, i used pvc pipe.

    Cool, what diameter pipe did you use?
    Also if one looses its syphon, you got 3 backups, good

    haha! do it! ;)

    i used 20mm but you can use what ever size and however many pipes you need. :)

    how did you start the syphon for each pipe?

    i just turned it upside down in the tank. im gonna put pipes to start the syphon though :)

    What about Tony's idea with the pump sucking the air from the pipes? You will have to put a fitting on the top of each pipe (on the horizontal part) for the going to the pump to be fitted onto..... In this way, you can control the siphon.....

    i wanna try it but dont have a powerhead with a venturi in my tank anymore.

    ok i got a lil seio 320 which has a lil venturi input at the back. gonna give that a try:)
