i have used it and its not 100% effective in removing the residue the silicone leaves behind.. nothing like good old elbow grease and a blade to get the glass clean

I have a 2m to break up, biggest concern is the bottom bracing.

maj , you need to apply quite a lot, I first apply this and then use a scraper blade. Cost is about 18 bucks a tube...I stripped a 1,2 yesterday and used 1 tube...to give you an idea

The best silicone remover I have come accross is avgas (aviation gasoline). It softens silicone quickly. the only snag is it is hard to come by. They wont sell to you at the pumps.

I used it on my sump.

If you want to absolutely remove every last milligram of silicone on the glass I would suggest using it. You have to first use a stanely blade to remove as much silicone as you can, then use the stripper. It's almost useless at removing large quantities of silicone, it is very messy, and if you are only re-siliconing one or two panes of glass then be careful not to get any of it on the rest of the siliconed joins.

Having said that, you realise how much silicone (sometimes quite a bit) is still left even after scraping as much as you can with a stanely blade...

If you do choose to use it, take their instructions to heart and add generous amounts to the specific area.

Then wipe every thing off with a damp cloth, then again with meths...
