    Hi there.

I bought this fish just now and when I added it to my tank I only noticed this now. I guess it only wanted to show of its better side the whole time that's probably why I did not notice it.

What should / could I do now?

What is the problem here? Fighting or disease?

Pyjama cardinals are quite timid and I personally haven't seen them fighting but I wouldn't put it past damage due to fighting or it could be an infection...

I see there are other spotted cardinal as well, it might be that one of them chased this one, and he injured himself against something trying to escape from the other one. I got same cardinals and have seen them chase each other around the aquarium.

Just keep a eye on him to see if the others chase him. It might also be a crab?

    I doubt that.
I'm putting my money on disease or damsel-damage.

I think you should sump the damsels and see how it goes, i had one that was a 1/4 size of my scopa and he gave the scopa hell. took him out and all was fine.

I only got it yesterday, but it seemed last night that they were eating, though not much.
Will definitely keep a very close eye on it.

I feel bad to sump them, however I'm strongly thinking of sumping the White Damsel as it's very aggressive and territorial. It chases all and everything away from "it's" rocks.

The poor "Rollads Damsel" seems to be getting it the worst...

Will maby catch and sump it tonight. (In which compartment should I put it - DSB, skimmer or return pump? DSB only has a water level of about 50mm.)

Damsels are devil fish, lol, most of them can be really aggressive, if you keep damsels you need to research them and their behaviour and buy suitable tank mates that will be able to put up with their aggression....like a BIG lionfish :whistling:
