    The fish looks fine, what ever it is it is hard. I have tried to wipe it with an earbud, but it is like stone.

    try giving the guy a fresh water dip or if you have a QT tank place him in there and see how he does

    The dip sounds good. What is the best way to get the fresh RO pH to 8.3. Mine out of the tap is about 6.5?
