Any idea what is going on with this clown. He is not acting sick and this weird white tissue is near his gill flap, on one side only. Almost looks like his white stripe is peeling off.

Ditto - also wanted to say the same. Warr - isn't this perhaps some slime excretion from one of the clams or corals, that is just "stuck" to the clown temporarily?

Is the fish scratching itself on that side perhaps already?

That's the weird thing, he is not showing any visible signs of a sick fish other than the gill thing. He is swimming in his nemmie as per normal and chasing other fish away from his home.

I will monitor and if it doesn't clear up try the fresh water dip.

I am glad to report my clownfish seems to me over his bout of unknown (gill flukes ?) disease.

I am sure his nemmie helped him, the constantly snuggling, rub it off :whistling:
