    HI @brand.
    Firstly, welcome to MASA
2nd - Can you give us a bit more details on your system? (Age, size, filtration, lights, recent changes)

This might help to give you a proper answer.

You will more than likely be able to go back to your anemone notes in order to make an informed decision on getting the anemone back to happiness. I won't be of much assistance here as i have not fully researched anemones :)

I have 3 anenomies and have had them for about 3 months now and they are quite unpredictable. Have had them look happy for days, then flat and miserable for a day or two. Then they walk about, relax, get happy, etc, etc.

My suggestion would be not to "flip the rock" that it climbs under - just let it be. There was probably a reason it moved under that rock - maybe wanted a change in flow or lighting or something.

I am sure some other people here will give you much better advise than this but this is my (limited) experience with them

Not sure about them going under to die... That may be coincidence
They may move around due to flow, lighting, or other corals bothering them

    nope.

They deflate every couple of days. And looks very miserable. My one anemone moved in so deep into the rock structure that I could not get it out without removing a lot of rocks. I just let it be and after a couple of weeks it decided to come out again. Today that bubble tip is happy, but still, it does retract under the rock once in about 2 weeks and deflates completely to almost nothing. Next day, out again.

But must admit, your anemone does look very pale / white.

    What lights do you have?
If T5, how old is the globes?
Do you know what type of anemone this is? Difficult to say from the pic.

like I said, I have 3. Was given two initially. One hid under a rock for about 2 months. Another one went behind a rock and on the substrate for about 3 weeks. After trying to fiddle with them I just eventually left them. Then one day they moved right next to each other and one split so that I now have 3. They seem happy now : check pic
