These thingies basically deliver CO2 to the tank but on a very simple concept ... I think its basically a canister that you keep putting cartridges in that is loaded with carbon and via electrolysis gets the carbon released into the water column .... you basically dosing CO2 via a cartridge in a canister into the water .... cool gadgets ..... I think this basically sums it up ... Marco
