Shrimp+coral ID needed

hi there

could any body please ID the following:
The coral is a sps, not sure what kind. it is pink/purple with green poylps.

the shrimp, is he reef safe?

Same here. Got some in my tank. If the tips start getting white, it is dyiing. Mine is fully blossomed and they are really nice. Do not take chances with shrimps in your tank if you do not know what type. Rather stick them into your sump
 
sean the shrimp is in my sump at the moment. wanted to know what he/she is and if they are reef safe
 
Hi Gaz, if possible get a photo of the shrimp from the side. One of the things that is important in identifying prawns/shrimps are the shape of the spine that grows off the head from just behind or between the eyes.
 
thats asking me to find a needle in a hay stack!! will go and try catch him then place him a glass cup for the photo shoot!!
