    Hi guys,

I would like to share my good fortune with you.

I have been moving all of my fish out of my display tank into quarantene
For the past 3 weeks as I want to leave my tank empty for at least 28 days to break the whitespot cycle. It is a huge job if you have a very big tank!

I have noted a huge explosion in the copepod population with most of the fish
    Now in quarantene.

Yesterday I noted a huge amount of baby shrimp in my tank.

I am not sure if it is Fire Shrimp or Cleaner Shrimp babies, as I have both species
In my tank. I suspect that at least some of them are Fire Shrimp as I can see the pink colouration on some of them.

With the fry being so small it is difficult to take photos, but I will try to photograph some of them and then upload it.

Do you perhaps feed your fish frozen mysis? I also have lots of baby shrimp in my sump, but I think I've narrowed it down to mysis. From what I've read, the cysts / eggs can survive the freezing process and hatch.

Just another possibility to look at.

    Most likely mysis or amphipods.

I think that the Mysis theory is most likely if it is not any of the ornamental
Shrimps are the parents. I have a lot of Copepods (more than one type), but these are
100% shrimps. I suppose time will tell. I will upload a clearer photo if the opportunity presents itself.

Mine is in my sump, and I've never been able to get a photo of them. They look like that, although I'm not sure about the red markings. They run up and down the glass. I've got a cleaner shrimp and a fire shrimp, but no pairs, that's why I ruled them out as parents.
