My ocealaris passed away last night so now I only have a CUC...

    1 x Cleaner shrimp
    2 x Blue legged hermits
    2 x Nassarius snails
    3 x Cushion stars

Should I feed anything? I've decided to hang back a while before getting a fish again so now I don't know if I should feed the CUC anything...???

How long has the system been running, if I look at your link it's about 2 weeks?

Normally one doesnt feed the CUC but if your system is really new... tossing in some meaty treat doesnt hurt if the system is young. Your system looks like it has enough to keep the CUC happy for now though.

I would drop in a few sinking pellets, every two days, just to make sure there is something in the tank for them to eat, just a little pinch between your fingers should do it.

Thank you for all the advice... I think they should be ok for a while seeing as there was only an ocealaris head in the tank this morning... :( At least they are doing their job...

Just remember they are living creatures that need to eat, they devoured your fish overnight, they are hungry ;) your tank is far too young to be considered as a 'productive' reef tank supplying food for it's inhabitants. You will need to feed them eventually, even if you buy a piece of frozen hake from pick 'n pay and cut off small bits every couple of days, you will see your shrimp and hermits go mad looking for it when you drop it in the tank.:)
