    Hi Guys

I on my way to the States in September and have a question for you. . .

What reef goodies would you buy!? What are things that are available there and not here, whats cheaper?

What electronic devices can be used here or converted?

    Thanks Chaps

Some of the additives, like Aptasia-x.
All there electronics run on 110V so might be a bit hard to convert without buying an expensive transformer.

I'll work on getting a list of places in Chicago. How long are you going to be in the Chicago Area? Will you have transportation? If you have time, I would suggest Premium Aquatics in Indianapolis, IN. Unfortunately, its about a 3 hour drive, but well worth it. Premium Aquatics

I also recommend Inland Aquatics in Terre Haute, IN (3 1/2 hour drive). Inland Aquatics Homepage

If timing is right, perhaps we could make the trip together. I'm only about an hour away from Chicago and have been wanting to get to Premium for some time now.

Chicago's big reefing event is going to be in October. :(

Yes, I need to contact a few people to get the name and address of them. I don't usually visit shops in Chicago. Give me a few days and I'll get you a list of the nicer ones.

The best prices for dry goods are always found on-line. If this is what you are looking for, you may want to consider having something shipped to your hotel from one of the on-line vendors. I'm not sure I would try getting on an airplane in the US with any chemicals though. Airport security here is pretty tight due to the terrorist attacks back in 2001.

Thank you so much Anemone! I'm thinking of having everything shipped to my final hotel in NYC and then mailing it to myself from there!

    Thanks again!
