    Hello to all the Reefers...

Well, been busy for quite a while planning and getting all in place for the new tank, finally got around to start a thread on it. Hope it'll be a great success and much enjoyment.

    Some specs :

DT - 1000mm X 800mm X 600mm(h), 12mm Starphire with skinny overflow on one of the 800mm sides, done by Nathan at The Serious Reefer.
Sump - 1000mm X 600mm X 450mm(h) -- going with with Biopellet Reactor, JNS SK3 Skimmer, Carbon Reactor. Sump will have a RO water top up compartment, Water change compartment and filtration compartment.

Getting all my equipment from him as well.

Lights will be a DIY LED Unit... If not satisfied with it, i'll get the Vertex Illumina for the tank.

Frame and sump was built by myself, wood work will be put on once in my place.

Will post some pics as I go along with the setup.

Added some food coloring to the one chamber, as it is the RO chamber, left it over night to make sure there's no water leaks into the other chambers.

I like the Brandy and Coke next to the sump in one of the pics, or was it just Coke?? From experience I have found that Brandy and Coke + Glass work = blood

Yes, red is the RO chamber, the one next to it is the waterchange chamber. This chamber also recieves the overflow water, which then overflows into the big chamber, the plumbing can be move over to the big chamber where the skimmer, pellet reactor, carbon reactor and heaters will be in. By doing so, the waterchange chamber can be emptied new salt mixed in there by a small pump, then just moving the plumbing back to get the new salt water back into circulation. The small chamber inside the big one, is lifted 50mm of the bottom and the return pump will be in there, as well as the float switches for ATU, seeing that there will not be any wave action from overflow in there. I'll post a proper pic once all is installed and up and running.
