Hi guys, this is just to say thanks to all who helped me and to show you guys how things are going so far... (yes lots of pics )

My 1st tank was a disaster, more like a mass murder and nothing lived not even the snails , it was all over just 4weeks after set-up, and so,
I called it a day and gave up the hobby completely, so that there would still be some fish left in the ocean for you guys.

One and half years later I came across a 1.3m by 450 by 500 for only____________________wait for it___________________500bucks !!! and it was an empty marine tank !!!
So, I thought id give it a shot one more time, to prove to myself that I can do it. But this time I had MASA behind me !!! Thanks to Llewellyn who was my inside man when I wasn’t a member and The Waterboy for answering all my question and offering great advice and products.

So just remember guys, I am still new at this and im sure things will get much better this year as I plan on customizing this set-up as well as adding all the cool goodies and equipment that I need. So keep an eye out for updates.
Once again, for all the help keeping my fish alive for more than 4weeks….going on 7 months now and things are very stable with amazing growth in corals and fish.

please note that for some reason the camera is not capturing all of the colors correctly

i would move the LR so its submerged in water, will be 1000% more effective

This the best picture i have of the sump, i know the divisions are not correct and will address this ASAP but it is working great for now. And yes the aqua via skimmer will be replaced soon:whistling:

Those feather dusters multiplied like you wont believe! What you see in the picture is only half of them, because thats not a very new picture. you must come see for your self. I think they love the NSW.

I sold the this tank dude:whistling:.
Im busy with the new build but its taking ages, will start a thread on it soon;)

i used natural sea sand as a base, works perfectly and sustains lots of life but it makes the tank abit dull because it does not reflect light back into the tank as well as the white aragonite does... hope that helps.
