    Nice

But having a carpet under your tank will not work. You will flood at some point. And flood again.
It is just one of those things. My last flood was 40L water. Do you know how much floor coverage in your lounge you can get with only 40L?

Thank you everyone, I am really excited about it too, but still got much to learn. The carpet was a condition, so not getting past that lol, or me and tank moving out. Also rather the carpet get water before the laminate flooring. Damm, you scare me on the 40l overspill, I pray it does not happen.

    Specs are
    Baffled sump, DSB in centre +- 15cm (Aquamedic Aragonite) - 80 x 25 x 50
    Fiji Rocks
    Bubble Magus 5
LEDS coming soon, just waiting for DHL to deliver, hopefully Wednesday - Custom Build and configuration with day and night program. 12000k whites, 450 Blues, 420 Violets, 660 Reds and 560 Greens 2 units 120w each.
    Looking for some wave pumps
    2 Heaters LifeTech - 250w and 300w
    Return Pump - ViaAqua

Got lots more equipment to get. Will need to revise shopping list.

Dimmable? Just sounds a bit much for that size tank.

Its alot for that size tank... I run two 90W units on my 300L which is 120x50x50 and im only running them at 60%...

Be careful not to bleach corals. Futher on I love the build! Very nice stand:1:

Hey Triton, compliments of the season, sorry for the late reply, back from a well rested holiday, and have not been online for a while. Thanks for asking about the lights. Yes they came in record time from overseas - 4 Days (WoW), had them set up and they look great and work amazing very happy at a R4k investment. See pics below, let me know your thoughts,

Damm got some maintenance this week though, have neglected my tank a bit, also added a set of Voyager 4 with a wave controller on the weekend, just need to set up the flow 100% will post pics within the week.

How you doing and hows the New Tank Build going, would love to see whats happening with that.

    Hey Shamy,

Same to you, may it be a great year. I'm finalising things for the new house. so I decided to start the build after i move. sshould be next month or march.

Those lights look great. For 4k and built to your spec thats a really awesome deal. You need to hook me up with those guys details. what percentage are you running the LEDs at? i'm sure even one of those units would have been sufficient for your tank.

Hows my ex fish and shrimp doing? :)

All Live Stock are doing awesome, eating well and getting fat lol, just like how I feel after the last festive season. The lights are running as follows,

    Damm they bright
    Whites - 30%
    Blues - 50%

I chose 90 degree lenses hence 2 where necessary to cover all dead spots at a 25cm height from the tank, if I went 120 degree then 1 would have been sufficient or I need to move the light higher up, which would mean more light spillage as well.

Will PM you details of the store i got them from.

    Regards
    Shamy

Awesome.. lol, I feel the same after all the eating.

Cool, I think I am going to look into them for my light build. I also want 2 units for the new tank so I can dim them independently.
