    I always need a spare tank so I thought a 1,2 m would be ideal. 23347b9d55c68093.jpg

Your spare tank only twice as big as my last "main tank" but no worries :p

23347b9d6983c2f4.jpg I was thinking of maybe using copper from time to time so I will not be going the natural filtration route.Filtration will be old school.A big power filter.Hell they worked for me in the past.

Y not plumb it into your main tank, but make it so the you can run it separate . Just don't use copper then.

I want the tank to be separate from my other tanks so that I have the flexability to dose with chemicals if needed.

Yes I know, but my thought is, it a fish is sick moving it to different water can stress it out even more, this way you can catch it and move it to the tank and the run the bypass.

    Just my2c.

My thoughts are that if you were to suddenly seperate the tank from an established system you would be left with no means of biological filtration.
