That time has come, been thinking about it for a while and have decided to sell everything.

Anyways, whats the best way to go about this? Was thinking about selling all the coral first(mainly SPS), from there remove some rock to make catching fish a little easier. I know its next to impossible to try sell all to one buyer so wont even go that route.

    Any advice/suggestions welcome.

PS. Wont be able to stay away too long so a simple 600mm cube in a couple of years is definitely on the cards.

Not a lot of guys have 10 to 20 grand to blow on an impulse. Well, definitively not me.

Look at the for sale threads, systems where everything gets listed, goes a lot faster than complete systems.

And I think you get more of your money back on selling everything separate. You can still order the sequence of letting the things go.

    Hi Nick

    Sent you a PM.

I sold my cube in pieces also definately start with the corals.

I had a sliding scale for guys the more corals bought the more discount given.

I then sold all the liverock then fish then equipment.

I would recommend rather downsizing and keeping a nano at the very least.

    Good luck mate.

    NIkky NO!!!!!

ag dude i know how its i have been wavery aswell of late.. its a difficult thing to have when plauged with so many odd against you.. power outages etc and it takes alot of cash to keep it oing in respect to that..

you have a fantastic system, its always been an inspiratrion to me, and i have watched it grow from day one with keen interest...

if its time its time.. rather than let it wither away from neglect due to lack of time..

from a sale point of view i would do the following..

Decide on a price for the whole set up and then divide it proportionatley to make the difficult things to sell go 1st and the more sought after go at a slightly higher price and recoup your cash on them..

i have done this with a few sales for guys to assist them in regaining their cash back and its work 99% of the time..

you get what you want and they get what they want and are wiling to pay a little more for LS as it is in a good risk free condition.

I hate to do this as id love to see you keep the tank but if you need a hand structuring the deal i will reluctantly assist :(

    all the best buddy...

Sorry to see the end of such an awesome system. Best of luck with the sale. Id also list the corals, then do the fish and inverts, then the liverock and then the hardware

Doubt I'll be able to stay away long, just bummed to part with the fish.

Thanks for the kind words Les. I've worked out some pretty good prices so far, don't want stuff sitting around forever

    Thanks Rakabos
