    Place them facing each other.ie. One on one end and the other end of your tank, this way as the flow meets, it will disperse.
    Alternativley you can have them pointing at your glass, that way it sort of bounce back and disperse the flow.
    Whats the dimensions of your tank?

    Cool. The placements i mentioned should be fine. Are you going to be running it off a controller?

    what does the controller actually do at r1700 quite expensive

    Well you can set them to create a wave like formation (trying to copy the ocean) ie. small medium and large currents at different intervals. I dont own the Seio Controller, perhaps somone who has one can give us some input on them.
