Seashells in tank

    I know that seashells in the tank is a big NONO because it traps crap and buildsup gasses .. .. .. how about filling the shell with some silicone???? Would that work - has anyone tried this?

    i dont thin kit will foat....my hard silicone normally drops to the bottom....

    christiaan: Over time they''ll just be covered in coralline, so if you've got some really nice looking shells you're thinking of putting in it might not be worth it

    Very true, the coralline will make everything and I mean everything pink.
