I really think it must be a possitive to the overall health of the tank. I think Seachem products are great.

It's a vitamin, trace element and amino acid suplement.

Most vitamins will make your skimmer go mad but the benefits of adding vitamins are not immediately apparent.

Oh I see.....As Tony mentioned, it will make your skimmer go mad as skimmers tend to love to pull out trace elements. (I am a firm believer of heavy skimming though)

    Here is the full breakdown.

    Reef Plus
    Product Description
Reef Plus™ is a full spectrum reef supplement containing trace elements, vitamins, and amino acids demonstrated to have a positive impact on the growth of corals and other desirable reef creatures. Reef Plus™ is formulated to provide nutrients available from natural tropical reef waters. Contains vitamin B12, vitamin C, thiamine, inositol, choline, iodide, and other essential constituents. Reef Plus™ is nitrate/phosphate free.

    Sizes: 100 mL, 250 mL, 500 mL, 2 L, 4 L, 20 L

    Why It's Different
Other manufacturers’ vitamin supplements are incomplete, containing only vitamins and trace minerals. Reef Plus™ contains necessary amino acids in addition to a full complement of trace minerals and high amounts of vitamin C and B complex vitamins. It is so concentrated that it can be effectively used as a food soak for frozen fish foods.

    Directions
Use 1 capful (5 mL) for each 80 L (20 gallons*) twice a week or as required to maintain coral growth. May also be used in food by mixing 1 mL in about 15 mL (1 tablespoon) of food. Refrigerate after opening.

I last added this stuff about 2 years ago..... no only have a Ca reactor on my tank, with water changes..... I my monster skimmer forces me to do replace a LOT of water, which my skimmer removes from my tank...... I replace a minimum (sometimes more) of 100 liters of water per month....

    reef plus and reef trace

Hi there i have been using reef plus and reef trace for 2 years and found only excellent results, reef trace supplies a broad range of trace elements demonstrated to be necessary for proper reef health and growth, trace elements are normally depleted by utilization ,oxidation and precipitation. The latter two processes occur more rapidly than with other micronutrients, this makes it important to restore trace elements on a regular basis reef trace may be used in conjunction with reef plus and results are obtained when both are used and i can say this it works, you also get marine trace thats excellent for your fish col, health, growth and yes its better to switch off your skimmer for 30mins to a hour

You can turn your skimmer off for a few hours. I added the Brightwell Vitamarin and theft my skimmer off for four hours so the corals and fish have time to take it in
