From what i was advised on this forum. the aquarium water is cool just might be a bit high in phosphates.

The coral in my tank seem to be happy using only aquarium water
    P.S. Salt is expensive

Hi, we use aquarium water , but have to buffer P.H and alkilinaty.
On ocasion we use the Red sea coral pro and do see a little increase enven on that one water change.
Just for interest sake we use R.O and mix Red sea coral pro for selling as well.

    Plain R.O is R15.00 for 25 liters
Salt mixed with R.O is R35.00 for 25liters

    Hi,

Im usualy pritty impressed with our corals, but after a salt mix water change the corals are Larger - more extended, small difference but on one change, if i used it perminently i would imagime it whould be even more noticable.

    But not Knocking aquarium water...

The clarity doesnt improve at all cause we perminently filter our aquarium water in a 1000l drum with a pond filter and heater - just the alk and p.H we have buff.

I cant say much about colour change as that should be happening over a long period and ide imagine the lighting would make a colour change possible ?

Somthing i have notices though is, since weve stoped the Zooplankton feeding, things could look better.
Soon i will get the culture going for ISO and be able feed regulary and supply.

    Chat soon
    David
