a species of urchin.
More common name is Heart Urchin

I wonder if they will survive in a big DSB. They are detritus feeders. Borrowing in the sand.

I've kept two

difficult but I'm sure possible
mine didn't do well lasted two weeks
feed exclusively on detritus so good clean up crew
but dig extensively so Imo could be detrimental to a sand bed as airates the bed

having said this mine where in about 5cm deep sand so in a properly mature sand bed of ample depth they would probably thrive

I might try next season
