Sea Gel from seachem

    Is it any good?
    Apparently SeaGel is a blend of MatrixCarbon and PhosGuard

    Hi Mike - YES - it indeed is...... Is not too bad..... But then I manually mix it in any case! :)

    should i just get PhosGuard. what other good phoshate removals are there? i know warren mentioned two to me.

    Tunze AntiPhos, Phosphate Sponge (not sure of brand - could be Kent Marine)......

    that Kent marine stuff lasts 8 days when to have a look at it the other day.not cool for the bank balance :)

    mike - there is one thing you need to know about phosphate removers - two different types exist! Ons(like seachem) is aluminum based and the other(aquamedicc, rowaphos) is ferric oxide based!

    Aluminum and softies dont do well! Many articles on the net - google it - I say try to find the aquamedic stuff ar around 350 per 1000g - will last a long time!
