Had the same talk with a friend the other day. We could try and do amazing things in this hobby with money. Where an opps doesnt break the bank. It just becomes an oh well try again.

I like the rock stack you got there. Just need now another one or two islands to make things interesting. Remember the basic principle in garden design, do not have the flower beds the same size and shape. Nature is not like our humans that divide everything equally. 3/8 and 5/8 is a good ratio. And on this size tank having an open gap between the islands with open sand flat area in between would look really great.

Is the tank still 6 sides? Or now 5 sided?

Yeah I will be creating a new structure with my current rock in my 6 foot. Dont want to take away my fish homes away just yet. Also need to figure out how to remove all the coral that has grown onto the rock already. But will figure it all out in due course. Yeah I will be having gaps between islands. The rocks are just added to that corner for now as it was easier to add the rocks before hand than trying to fi them bettwen the bulkhead and the glass.

My plan is to have the most space possible for the fish to swim in open spaces.

Yes is has changed to 5 sides. I will update the name once I get the volume as Dorry pets calculated about 5000l instead of 4000l excluding the sump.
