    hi everyone

    i have a question?

    i am a scuba instructor and wondering if any slummies members wan tot get qualified/

    also whats the way about diving fish out? would i just need a maring permit from the post office?

    You are not meant to spearfish or take anything out of the sea in South Africa while scuba diving.

    you can collect on a marine collection permit while on Scuba.

    Not allow to spearfish.

    I don't think so. Definitely not allowed to take out crayfish, oysters and mussels even with a permit.

    they are all on another section of the permit.

    (8) The holder of a recreational fishing permit, shall not use any artificial respiratory equipment, with the exception of a snorkel,
    except in the case of marine aquarium fishing.

    you can take out marine ornamentals on scuba, the main thing is to be in a possession of a permit for collection of marine ornamental fish and not exceed your daily species quota (not too sure if the last part stands for EC as these fish are seasonal here) you cannot collet for the purpose of resale..

    Its a grey area but its not looked apone very well. I have see nature con chase guys collecting on scuba out the water here in pe.
