    Hey guys!

So just wanted to get a vey quick idea of how people feel about these two different biological nutrient exports... From what I've read, scrubber should totally outpower the cheato - but I havent had any experience... So lets hear your thoughts!

What about an option for running both?
I got it like that. Using same light fixture for both.

Thats great to hear Riaan. I've been thinking of doing that - but from what I've heard is that its better to stick with one, larger unit than having the two compete for nutrients. I certainly don't see why one shouldnt run both. I am planning on doing that and seeing how they do.

Well, if your scrubber is 100% effective, then your cheato ball should slowly die away. But both mine are growing, so whatever the scrubber misses, the cheato can have.

Having used both i prefer the scrubber as the chaeto gets trapped with detritus if the chaeto ball is not rolling

LOL Dane you like going the micro size way hey!!!!!:whistling:

I have both running & both are doing just fine, but I do agree when the cheato is not tumbling it traps detris. but that is all ove after a harvest:thumbup:
