    Are the seahorses and Banggais bred in SA and what species are the seahorses?

    They are from America (seahorses) Hippocampus reidi , Bangais also america I think.

    Seahorse prices are around R800 depending on colour.

    This is more than usual but these are captive bred and are able to take frozen food.:)

    And it is prob very good stock, i were thinking of two so that is R1600. That is why :eek:. Must have used:blush: don't have R1600 for them at the moment.

    Captive bred seahorses usually are far healthier, as well as usually trained to eat frozen foods (apart from dwarfs). Thus giving far less hassle and being healthier than wild caught, tank raised and pen raised sea horses.
    Tank raised is not the same as captive bred.
    Its a fair price.
