Scientific name for Wimple

    Hi guys

    I purchased a wimple from a kenyan shipment...does anyone know the scientific name for these fish? which variant occurs in kenya and is it the reefsafe one or not?

    mmmm heniochus acumulatus is the one that springs to mind... but i stand to correction...

    I couldn't find any reference to the Wimple common name, only the scientific name mentioned.

    You get various Heniochus in Kenya. H. acuminatus and H. diphreutes are the most common. They can be tricky to tell apart. H. diphreutes doesn't eat coral, H. acuminatus does.
