so I had a velvet brake out in my reef tank witch nearly killed all my fish. so I have one clown and one blue green chromis left in QT I have treated them and they seem to be fine now eating well and no sign of velvet. They have been out of the main display for about 2 almost 3 months. when would you guys say that it should be save to start adding fish to the reef again.

Hi Ryno , I would suggest adding the chromis first and waiting perhaps a week or so, if no signs of a flair up then go ahead and add the remaining fish , chromis are geñeraly a hardy fish and I have found that clowns don't handle velvet very well. A quarantine period of 3 months is quite excessive have you been feeding your tank at all whilst your fish were out? Also better to test your perams before doing anything cheers Wes
