    I'm looking for some assistance on satellite TV, I'm needing someone that knows the industy well or has knowlendge of installations / setups other than DSTV.

    lIghty - not sure if anyone responded to this. But, try and contact Warr - if he himself cannot help you, I am more than sure that he can refer you to someone who CAN......

    We play around with DSTV and Sentech's hardware, sounds like Iighty wants info on the IT and data satellite hardware/technology. You need to contact Telkom regards this kind of info

    wanting to connect to the European / US channels, preferably FTA channels, but payable too, I do understand you can get some FTA channels in the multichoice, but nothing great.

    I imagine I would need to get a 1.8 or 2m dish and a dyal band LNB.

    Loads of options, but nothing worth well on through the DSTV decoder.

    Anything in particular you looking for ? There is a huge variety and a wide range of hardware.

    Ye, I know I will have to purchase diffent hardware. Just looking for some decent channels, a friend told me they have like 5 different National Geo Sience channels, thats just the "Siences" never mind the others like the wild etc....

    Phone Space TV, they have the hardware and a couple very clued up techies. If you don't come right, I have a mate in Westville that will sort you out
