Sanrise LED

Hi

Over the weekend I looked at the Sanrise LED lights the 400 in particular @jungleaquatics but noticed the box indicates its for tropical aquariums.

The attendant told me that it was the exact light that they use on the display tank at the entrance.

Does anyone have any experience with these?

No it was the 60cm unit.

Ummmm no the display tank at the entrance is using 3 zetlight 7000 model.. The sanrise are used in the back coral tanks by the old marine fish tanks.

Is it worth it?

The units aren't badly priced probably still 1w modules.

Maybe I should stick to T5 or do a DIY with 3w modules?

Depending on the depth of your tank and coral placement. And type of corals. If shallow, 300mm or less then 1W can work. Else rather go for a 3W LED unit.
