Hi,

Is there anyone who has knowledge of a Sand Waterfall in his / her tank? Feedback will be grate.

tagging,
have only seen it in freshwater tanks, probably since flow in marine tanks are generally too high and will blow the sand around

I found the following links on YouTube some time ago. Although it is for a tropical aquarium. I hope this will help.

1mm sand. With the flow we have in our tanks, you will have that sand all over your corals.

Freshwater tanks, maybe, if you have a catchment area to collect the sand. But still think you will end up with sand outside that catchment area eventually.

Thanks for the feedback. Will leave it for the freshwater tanks, still very interesting. Riaan I want to agree with you, not all sand will end up in the catchment area.

Looks cool. Very interesting idea. Maybe you can place it in a glass/acrylic tube or box, thus having your sandfall in a controlled environment.
