    Just a question, sand sifting star in sump DSB, good idea or bad idea?

    My opinion, a bad idea, these guys can absolutely decimate a sand bed of all life within a relatively short period of time, unless you have a really productive sand bed in at least a 6ft tank I wouldn't advise getting one of these guys.

    You want a DSB because of the "life" thats cultivate in them.
    If you put something in there that will eat that "life" then, whats the point of having a DSB??
