Sand dollar

    Does anyone have experience with a sand dollar? What is good to get to keep your sand clean? I have a goby so far (not sure of the name but its all white)

    yes it will keep sand clean, but in a new tank it may starve

    keeping your gravel clean by siphoning, dont over feed and good husbandry

    Sand dollars (Echinodiscus spp.) are protected in South Africa and may not be collected.

    Some hermit crabs and nassarius snails will help too. Are you having issues with your sand?

    @Viper no just want opinions so that I know shay cleaning crew to get. Don't want to buy something and then there's not enough food for them all.

    Consider age of your tank before adding any animals that need to sift your sand for food.
