sand bed

    can i use sand from the beach for my sand bed?

    Yes, you can use natural sea sand.
    Do make sure that you collect from an unpolluted area, and also at least 1m below the low tide mark...

    Nothing wrong with it. As long as it's fine sand and not rough shale found at some beaches. Also collect below the low tide line away from drains, overflows and river mouths.
