It was insane!!!!so much healthy life.some places are pristine and other places dead bleached corals.but i cant describe how awesome it was.
Big healthy colonies.i saw acro fields...crazy big.and obviously the best corals in very shallow water.1-5m deep.

This little tank has been with me forever.I used it to mix saltwater for my nano tank few years back.Think i just bought it at a petshop. now i am using untill my 46 liter RO tank is done to replace this small tank.I want to see how long the 20 liter top up tank will last before its empty now.

So I tested all water parameters this weekend.Everything looks awesome

    Ammonia - 0 ppm
    Nitrites - 0 ppm
    Nitrates - 2 ppm
    Phosphates - Almost nothing

The tank looks clean as well as the sand and rock after the diatome bloom came and went a while ago.

After more than a month of cycling and me be happy with the parameter tests, I added the first corals to my tank.

I love zoanthids, so I added some as well as a GSP frag isolated to a rock where it will not take over the tank.

Working towards a nice mixed reef , I will only add sps and LPS once the tank is a bit more mature.

Dosing NOPOX daily and will also be dosing Ca, Alk and Mg when more corals are added. For now the water changes will take care of the softies in the tank.

    Will post pics later!!
