im one of the fortunate buggers that are able to ge NSW free (just had to rub it in ) but from my limited experience using it during times of flood here i would say the followin

    1 temp 24deg
2 salenity to the salinity in the DT 1024
3 how long can u keep it If in darkness i would say if sealed indefinatley
4 how shoud it be stored in a dark cool place preferrably in a clean uncontaminated sealed container that is washed well

water attaracts airbourne contaminants such as aerosol sprays etc etc so the container should be sealed to avoid these.. i would also periodically stir the water if its going to be stored for longer than 1 month..

i think the best thing to do is to mix a 50 - 100lt batch and keep it for incase of an emergency..

    I agree with the above.

The basic idea is make your Ro (or buy)
Get it to the correct temp (24-26)
Add salt to the correct salinity (1.024 -1.026)
    and done.

You can keep it like everyone sayd indefenatly if it is in a sealed container, plastic should be food grade though.
