Any idea why this meter's readings would start jumping all over the show, shows 6.8 then 7.9 then 8.1. Not staying constant ?

Stray voltage in the tank, does it change when pumps come on and off.

Sorry to say this dude, but I am sure calibration won't change how the probe functions but rather what it will value it will display.

    My thoughts,its a faulty probe.
Should you know of anyone nearby, take your probe of and plug it into their monitor/contoller (brand doesnt matter) and see what the results are like. Should it be accurate, then it could be the actual monitor thats faulty.

Food or something stuck in th probe can give a faulty reading, not jumpy though. Maybe a bristle worm or something is in there. Wild guesses I know but maybe have a good look at the probes bulb.

My Thougths! Is A faulty probe too!
What Hapens is you should have a Little
O ring At your Sensor! (The Little LED Thingy
you talk about!) Normaly that O ring Fails and
And the neutral liqiud the sensor measures
against is contaminated with your tank water
    creating the Disturbinse!

Thanks for all the advise, guys. Found it was a tubeworm had it scrub the whole unit down, it was covered in them.

Seem to also have lost it's calibration, out by 0.3 :whistling:

    Seems sorted :thumbup1:
