Last night my anemone decided to go for a trip around the aquarium. Sadly this morning I woke to find him jammed in the wave maker (Resun 15000L) so much so that I had to dismantle it to get him out. No idea how he got in there either. He lost half his tentacles but still alive. Will he be able to recover from this? What should I do?

Sorry to hear this, but this is an all to often event, first off please secure inlets to circulation pumps if you keep anemone's. Many anemone's recover from this over time, the best way to have handled this would have been to switch the pump off and let the nenny untangle itself. The way forward here would be to place the nenny in a QT and let it recover. Please post a pic of the nenny, will help a great deal.

Golden rule: all tanks that have anemone's should have a guard(diy/wavebox type) around the pump that allow water to get to the pump but does not allow the anemone to get to the suction or inlets of the pump

    Many anemones recover from this.

How is the anemone doing now?

    Sorry for the delay!

Most usually do recover well, just give it time and cut down on flow a bit
