Rugby training was called off in favour of a free for all snowball fight, which went very silly, very quickly, great fun had by all the kids - including the adult ones:thumbup:

The jury is still out as to who actually won:lol:

WOW! How I miss snow! We used to get snow regularly while we were living in The Netherlands... And once while we were in the UK....
Cold - BUT not THAT cold ;-)

Wee-Man - did you have some fun driving in the snow? ;-)

Jacques, it is great fun driving in the snow, i could recount many good times flying down the road having only 20% of the control of the car and the ruts on the snow steering you round obstacles - you know you are alive after that:lol:

You should have seen the day it snowed in Bracknell where I worked. That day, it some folks just on two hours to get to work (where they usually get to work in 20 minutes or so). THE WHOLE of Bracknell was clogged up. Nobody could get in or out. I took a WAY out roundabout way via Woking to get to Bracknell - just to make it to work (still struggled, but was not as bad)..

21 december 2007. In norway, -14 Degrees and heavey fog. Driving to deliver the car back which i had hired 4km to go and LAST corner. Hit ice, ran out of gears, missed the snow walls and rolled. walked out of that. THEN you feel alive!:)

WOW! Crispin! That must have been NASTY! How did your wallet feel after that? The insurance pay-in must have hurt the wallet, surely! ;-)

Glad to hear you were ok - anyone else in the car with you?

yeah cost a bit, and the best part of the story was that i was doing dinner for friemnds to say thanks for the times they had helped me in Norway. So i precooked a rack of lamb, veggies and stuff, had it on a plate covered in tinfoil. after the roll and settling of the dust i looked at the meal and it was still perfect. ate dinner 45mins later, polished a bottle of 12year old Mccallam and did that weird scandanavia thing of sauna, and cutting a whole in 60cm of ice with a chain saw and hopped in.

accident was soon forgotten:)
