Rock pools in durbs

    Hi guys ....

    Can anyone recommend any lekker spots to hunt for some cool softies near Durbs…. I am after some nice Zoo’s etc ….. pretty much anything to boost the colour and inmate population of my tank

    Gawies on the Bluff is also good.

    guyz also on this topic of specimens from tidal pools
    would you find and good types of fish in these pools?
    or would you have to go deeper in

    Some really stunning fish can be found in Tidal pools eg, Clown surgeons, few angels, wrasses butterflies...

    :) so guys can i take these fish for my tank or
    would i get introuble for removing them?
    guys which beach could i find such tidal pools that host
    some of these beautiful fish.

    just get a permit from a post office. ballito has many small rock pools

    Get yourself a permit from the post office.
    You allowed 10 specimens a day and not more than 5 of the same species.
    Good places to catch fish would be the above mentioned aswell as Vetchies (If you know how to snorkel/free dive)

    Think the permits about R75, get the fishing licence form, on it you'll see the box for aquarium collection.

    getting mine this week, i think its well worth the amount :thumbup: but hope that its being used right. have seen some discussion about the latter somewhere on MASA

    I am off to durbs the last weekend of the month!

    between Umdloti tidal pool and ballito, which would you guys reccommend for collecting Zoo's etc ??
