As long as it's sealed nicely and not in the sun it should be fine for long periods.

    I buy RO once a month, 150L.
I store it in a cool room and out of the suns rays.

    Never had a problem.

It should be fine but dont leave it open as it can absorb stuff from the air

Well, pure RO has nothing in it and common sense tells me that if there is nothing in it and you make sure nothing can get into it, then nothing can go "off" ;)

Well, a long time will depend on his RO usage. Obviously if he makes once a week then he must use the stored water first and then store the fresh water again for a week. Or once in 2 weeks, etc
    Rotate the stored water :)

You can keep it for a reasonably long time in a cool dark place.
You will have to make sure that the container your using is made from Virgin materials, and that nothing else has been inside it, as contaminates will leach into the water.
The easiest way to test if the RO water is ok is a TDS meter (quick and easy to use).

I was just thinking howe many people buy ro water and those tds readings for bottle water over 60. Guys with there ro units aim for 0 all the time. Those guys that buy ro water why not check tds readings of you tap water, maybe would be the same.

TDS readings is an indication of how much stuff is in the water(Good and Bad),
    TDS - Total Dissolved solids.
Remember commercial drinking water has been remineralised after it has been put though an RO filter. Basically they take out everything good and bad, and replace the good.
Tap water is not filtered at all so while the the TDS might be lets say 80, and the drinking water is 60, the tap water can be filled with potential hazardous things (Cu, NO3, Cl, and so on)
