Hi,

I'm not sure if I'm knocking on the correct door but I have a D-D The Aquarium Solution RO unit and my wastage vs RO seems exceptionally high. What is the correct ratio and what would the problem seem to be?:(

I would really appreciate your assistance

Ro to wastage is determined by the quality of the source water and the age/condition of the membrane. Not uncommon to have a 1:2 or even 1:3 ratios of ro:wastage. Use the waste water to water pot plants or something else in the garden.

What does the waste water contain? I was thinking to let my waste water go into my duck pond?

Depends from area to area. If you used tapwater in the duck pond up to now, I do not see any reason why RO waste water would not be OK.

Do you use the borehole water as is as a replacement for RO water or do you process it through your RO unit?

The wast water of R.O should still be Cleaner than the tap water ( Unless you are testing while back washing )
