I have had an RO unit for 2 years, and bought it 2nd hand. I have always tested the TDS and have 000 from day one. It is a unit with 3 filters and resin chamber. Neither have been changed.

I make about 75-100 litres a week. I was wondering if my TDS meter is broken or uncalibrated ?

I have also tested my tapwater and this reads at 109, and my swimming pool comes in at a whopping 744.

Do not pee in the swimming pool. :)

Maybe take a bit in clean glass jar to LFS or reef buddy or next reef club meeting. Hey there is an idea. Everybody bring their own RO water and TDS meter. And everybody test the other guys water. Comparing your TDS meter reading with theirs. Then you will know.

I also got a TDS meter more than welcome to bring your water around. If you pool water is over 1500 then you can worry 744 is not bad.
